Our Leadership
Andrea Calderon
I’m an entrepreneur with 16 years of experience, having founded 3 companies specializing in education, technology, and HR services. To date, these organizations have contracted for over 20 Million dollars and benefitted more than 400 schools, 600,000 students, and 8,000 teachers across Latin America. I have also had experience in coordinating programs in Colombia, Kenya, and South Africa.
My passion is addressing social challenges by improving access to high-quality education and promoting employment opportunities for young Latin Americans. As co-founder of English4, I have worked towards universalizing the learning of the English language to positively impact the career of Latin Americans of all social and economic backgrounds.
Magda Uribe
With a solid foundation in Economics and an MBA, I bring over 15 years of experience in Human Resources, developing and shaping talent acquisition, people management strategies and driving success in Pioneering Berlin Startups. As a former Head of Human Resources and Talent Acquisition, I’ve developed a deep expertise in navigating the complexities of the German and EU job markets, building a versatile and strategic skill set along the way.
Driven by a passion for systems thinking and sustainability, I am now channeling my experience into entrepreneurial ventures focused on creating social and environmental impact, fostering interregional business collaborations with the purpose of driving meaningful change.
Juan David Aristizabal
I’m the founder of Talento Latam, a platform that accelerates entrepreneurs’ growth and aids in transforming their opportunities into income with the sustainable use of technology and media. I was named one of Forbes’ social entrepreneurs changing the world, Co-Chair World Economic Forum in 2019, and Recipient of the Princess of Girona Foundation Award for empowering young people through education and entrepreneurship.
In 2019 I wrote the bestseller Todos Podemos Cambiar el Mundo. I hold two Master's degrees from Columbia University in International Affairs and Journalism as a Fulbright fellow and a Master's in Educational Technology from the Instituto Tecnológico de Monterrey. I have 13 years of experience as a lecturer and speaker on leadership, social entrepreneurship, and youth empowerment.
